Job Description
Ensure to take over the Shipment from Pricing with Proper Quotation before to opening the JOB.
- Ensure to place the booking with Shipping Line, make follow up and release the booking within stipulated time period. Once booking received, update same to customer with Vessel/ Flight Schedule.
- Ensure to check DGR shipment documents and prepare DGD / PSN / labels properly.
- Ensure to coordinate with Customer for Stuffing/ Dispatch Planning as per booking details.
- Checking the shipping documents and communicating with customer in writing/Oral about list of further required documents and Sipping Bill Filling Scheme.
- E-sanchit the all related shipping documents in system and uploading the job on ICEGATE portal for S/BILL number.
- Checking the status of S/BILL once the S/BILL number generated from ICEGATE server.
- Ensure to prepare the B/Ldraft and sent to Exporter for checking and confirmation before to file the Shipping Instruction to S/line
- Handing over the job docket for Clearance to respective Operation person with status remark of the S/BILL (Assessment or Exam Mark).
- Ensure to handover the Documents to Shipping line/ Airline and gate in the container before Cut off for smooth movement of Shipment.
- Co-ordination with overseas agent for forwarding shipment status and Pre Alert Documents.
- Coordination with Transporter to arrange vehicle for Stuffing as per the Stuffing schedule.
- Ensure all the invoices and receipts has to be enclosed in docket before giving to billing desk. Also mention the payment request details behind the docket.
- Ensure to Release the B/L / AWBL timely on/ After the SOB and sent to Shipper.
- Ensure all documentation is supplied in a timely manner to customer with all the Supporting required.
- Ensure all customers standard operating procedures are followed and updated in Logisys.
- Ensure to timely update the DSR and sent to customer on daily basis. Also update the Shipment status timely to your seniors.
