Role : Our adoption and fostering panel is a virtual panel and held on the second Tuesday of the month. There are two vice chairs who are able to step in when required.
Attendance at 1 virtual or in person training sessions per year will be required which will be paid. Diagrama also offers an induction programme and access to relevant online training required to undertake the role. Panel Chairs are also involved in annual appraisals, recruitment and attend two annual Panel Management Meetings.
Salary :£350 (1/2 day) £450 (full day)

Diagrama panel has an oversight of recruitment and assessment of prospective adopters and foster carers. Panel members together make recommendations on the suitability of applicants and the ongoing approval of our foster carers and early permanence carers
We are seeking to appoint to the role of Independent Panel Chair, seeking applicants who are experienced in adoption and fostering and have experience in the operation of panels and in chairing meetings. Applicants can be from a range of disciplines, such as medical/health background, education or registered Social Workers.
Applicants should have relevant knowledge of the diverse needs of children who are Looked After and adopted and should be passionate about making a difference to the lived experience of children.
