• We have an exciting opportunity for a Operations Executive in our Vessel Operation team In JNPT You will be responsible for the primary role for this position is to perform all functions relating to the Marine Services at JNPT Locations as well as the full range of support services to the operations and adherence to excellence customer services in order to carry out the responsibility and to meet the expectation of the customer/principals.

What you’ll do:

.
• Obtain Rotation number, VIA Number and VCN Number on timely basis from the respective Indian Customs portal after checking sufficient funds from principal.
• Needs to prepare Port / Customs clearance / DIT / Vessel Inward Application / Immigrations / Health Authority based on local requirements.
• Take care of Vessel operation from Boarding till Sailing from port and needs to co-ordinate with Vessel Master / Chief Officer / Vessel Planner / Terminal Planner regarding Stowage plan, if any Reefer Malfunction, DG containers approval pending, OOG / Break Bulk operation and deliver required documents to the respective desk etc.
• Follow up with vessel Master and Principal to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and local regulations pertaining to Ship Operations and Security.
• Submission of Arrival Report, Departure Report, Tally Sheet, Vessel berthing and sailing report to the principal and partners on timely basis.
• Take care of Crew sign in and sign off with all required documentation process and review, approve and upload all invoices related to the port call (vendors, brokers, transportation, hotel, etc.)
• Ensure strict compliance to all relevant safety, quality, and environmental procedures in accordance with ISS Quality Management System and ISS Health and Safety Environment & HSSE Policies and procedures to deliver highest quality services.
• Update and maintain check list for all vessels handled and maintain the record. As per the Audit requirement files records kept ready for audits (share point).

Who you are:
• Preferably, with at least 2-3 years of experience in Port operations, Experience of handling container line/ service.
• Proactive, hardworking, responsible team player with a can-do attitude, willing to work flexible hours and handle flexible workload.
• Proven ability to manage seamless documentation /operation & reporting transparency
• Experience in timely data reporting through agreed time lines
• Competent user of full Microsoft Office package including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Experience of office management and interfacing with external service providers
• Contributing ideas to improve process within the team and across departments.
