Your opportunity
The Indirect Tax Accountant will be responsible for VAT compliance and related activities for TomTom group entities of Europe and APAC region
What You’ll Do
• Managing and preparing VAT returns and other related filings
• Managing and preparing VAT payments
• Support with VAT and Intrastat enquiries from authorities
• Support with VAT audits
• Monitoring the accuracy of AP & AR entries related to VAT
• Manage withholding tax compliance.
• Coordinate process improvements.
• Participate in ERP related projects
What You’ll Need
• Education in Accounting or Finance (CA or CMA or equivalent)
• Approximately 3 - 5 years relevant work experience
• Problem solving and action-oriented mindset
• Hands on mentality; practical business thinker
• Accurate and ability to prioritize tasks and allocate time efficiently
• Excellent understanding of English
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with SAP is a plus
