We require multiple industrial Blaster Painters across all levels to prepare steel surfaces by water jetting, abrasive blasting, and power tool methods. Industrial protective coatings will be applied by spray (conventional and airless), roller, and brush.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Preparing steel surfaces using abrasive blasting and power tool cleaning
Applying industrial protective coatings by various methods
Ensuring that all work meets specified quality requirements
Maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel and minimising any potential impact on the surrounding environment
Managing workplace hazards, health and safety, quality, and efficiency according to SRG requirements
Ensuring that equipment is well maintained, available, operational, and in safe working condition
Meeting deadlines and advising management of any potential delays
Building strong working relationships with stakeholders
You will have:
Industrial blasting/ painting experience
Certification in rope access (IRATA), Working at Heights, and EWPs (desirable)
Blast and paint experience in an industrial high-compliance environment (desirable)
Ultra High Pressure (UHP) water jetting experience and qualifications (desirable)
Great communication skills
Familiarity and compliance with industry personal protective requirements
A team player mentality
Pre-employment medical testing including a drug and ******* test will need to be passed and the candidate must have the legal right to live and work in NZ.
