Infra Engineer

JOB Description: Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and manage the company’s network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VLAN and WLAN. • Configure and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. • Monitor network performance and security to ensure optimal operation and compliance with industry standards. • Identify and resolve network issues, including troubleshooting connectivity, latency, and bandwidth problems. • Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network solutions that meet business requirements. • Evaluate new network technologies and make recommendations for network improvements and upgrades. • Provide technical support to end-users, including resolving network-related issues and assisting with network configuration. • Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. • Participate in on-call rotation and respond to network emergencies outside of regular business hours as needed. • Management of ESXI servers and Virtualization. • Management of ESXI snapshots backup, restoration allocation of resources, Network and management of resources. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. • Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role, with a minimum of 2 years of experience. • In-depth knowledge of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, and QoS. • Hands-on experience with network equipment from vendors such as Cisco,Sophos,Fortinet etc. • Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices. • Experience with network monitoring and management tools, such as Wireshark, Nagios, SolarWinds, or PRTG. • Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze complex network issues. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. • Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, VMWare, or equivalent are preferred. • Hands-on experience with VMWare and Virtualization • Experience with cloud networking technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
