Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced legal professional with strong expertise in real estate litigation to lead and manage the company’s litigation portfolio. The role involves strategic legal advisory, court representation, drafting of complex legal documentation, coordination with external counsel, and ensuring statutory compliance to safeguard the organization’s interests.
The candidate must be courtroom confident, strategically aggressive, and commercially sharp — with the ability to control complex litigation portfolios and drive favorable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Litigation Management
Lead, manage, and advise on all litigation matters (civil, criminal, arbitration).
Track and monitor ongoing court cases in coordination with external law firms.
Draft and review applications, affidavits, written submissions, pleadings, petitions, appeals, written statements, and rejoinders.
Independently represent the company before courts, tribunals, and quasi-judicial authorities.
Prepare and file complaints and lawsuits through appointed solicitors.
Review litigation pertaining to purchased properties and advise management on risks and mitigation strategies.
Provide regular updates to management and escalate urgent matters requiring approvals.
2. Legal Drafting & Documentation
Draft, vet, and negotiate:
Agreements
Deeds
Power of Attorney
Indemnity Bonds
Plaints and Petitions
Legal Notices and Replies
Ensure all responses to legal notices are filed within statutory timelines.
Maintain accuracy, consistency, and risk mitigation in all legal documentation.
3. Court & External Representation
Attend hearings across city, suburbs, and district courts.
Represent the company in meetings with solicitors, advocates, counsel, and external authorities.
Argue matters independently before tribunals where required.
Ensure company interests are effectively safeguarded in all legal proceedings.

Civil Courts
High Court
NCLT / DRT / RERA / Arbitration Tribunals
Revenue Authorities & Quasi-Judicial Bodie
4. Advisory & Compliance
Provide sound and timely legal advice to Directors, senior management, and internal departments.
Monitor legal and regulatory developments affecting the real estate sector.
Liaise with government authorities, revenue departments, and statutory bodies to ensure project compliance.
Maintain strong professional relationships with government officials and legal professionals.
5. Real Estate Dispute Management
Handle complex:
Land title disputes
Development agreement disputes
Joint venture conflicts
Recovery matters
Investor / Buyer litigations
6. Law Firm & Budget Management
Identify, appoint, and evaluate solicitors based on performance and expertise.
Negotiate professional fees and terms of engagement to ensure cost efficiency.
Monitor and manage departmental budgets.
Ensure effective financial controls and compliance with approved budgets.
7. Cross-Functional Coordination
Work closely with internal departments to address legal queries and arbitration matters.
Provide legal guidance on business decisions to ensure regulatory and statutory compliance.

Pay: ₹120,000.00 - ₹125,000.00 per month
