Job Description
• Being the advisor on regulatory and compliance issues in the context of the Company's business.
• Advise the company on a wide range of legal issues related to Competition law, sectoral regulations, Employment and Labour laws and handle litigation in the region.
• Work with cross-functional teams to support the company's strategic initiatives and advise on potential legal risks and liabilities.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in law and advise the company on the impact of new laws and regulations.
• Provide training and guidance to the company on legal compliance and risk management.
• Being a proactive business partner by keeping up with changes in Competition law Investigations/litigations filed by or against the Company before various forums up to Supreme Court.
• Strategize and provide guidance to external counsels on litigation strategy.
The Successful Applicant
• At least 2 years of experience in managing litigations in an inhouse setting.
• Attitude to be a proactive business partner to various teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively advise and negotiate on behalf of the company.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Having a keen interest in end-to-end implications of various regulations and compliances.
• Confidence to lead meetings independently.
