Functional Lead – HR Technology – Chief Manager @Gurugram

Work Mode – Work from Office (No Hybrid)

Deliver and support the design and development of HR technologies to drive all HR Operations processes (Payroll Administration, HRIS Management, Service desk, PMS, etc.) Coordinate with HR department to understand technology requirements and provide technology enabled HR solutions

Role & Responsibilities -

Strategic Activities
• Develop and design the systems and processes for all operational activities of HR department including but not limited to HRIS management, service desk, payroll administration, employee data management.
• Experience to design and implement scalable, high-performance software solutions across multiple platforms, related to SuccessFactors system and integrations with various other third-party applications like PeopleStrong, TCS iDL, Disprz, CAE – Crew Manager etc.
• Responsible for leading the design and development team to ensure the delivery of new designs from the concept stage to the development of prototypes through to finished products, ready to be used by the HR team.
• Present design, costs, changes, budgetary information, and analysis on the benefits of implementing new solutions to Senior Leadership.

Design & Development
• Maintain technical expertise and knowledge of best practices in HR technology trends, changes and developments, and service strategies and recommend new approaches, modifications to improve efficiency and/or effectiveness of HR systems and processes.
• Monitor the existing systems and processes and recommend upgradations and modifications as and when required.
• Manage the design and development team to produce a range of concept design schemes for HR systems and processes as well as update the existing technology.
• Partner with HR Leaders and their teams and as well as Digital & Technology teams to develop technology enabled HR solutions.
• Ensure that all design and development projects adhere to the budget; suggest iterations to the budget in line with organizational requirements.
• Coordinate with third party vendors and suppliers for various services required for maintenance for HRIS systems and other technology platforms under the function.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance.
• Develop implementation strategy for various HR Technology systems and processes.
• Gather inputs from HR function Heads on requirements from HR system; collate the same and ensure new systems can cater to these requirements.
• Understand the HR technology marketplace and find the right technology partners to collaborate with; negotiate initial contracts and assess delivery performance of HR technology vendors ensuring all technology/system SLAs are being met on a regular basis.
• Support internal HR Heads with system-related issues and act as a bridge with the technology vendor to solve for the same.
• Manage teams that work on continuous improvement of various Technology and systems adopted and recommend changes to the same.

Team Management
• Create an atmosphere that promotes moral, ethical, and legal business conduct.
• Ensure continuous interaction with talent acquisition team to understand their training requirements.

Educational And Experience Requirements –
• Masters/MBA/PGDM/PGP/PG degree
• Min 12+ years of experience in HR COEs with at least 7+ years in HR technology design and development.
• Experience in the aviation sector is an added advantage.
• Experience in managing initiatives and programs pertaining to designing and developing HR Technologies

PwC India is looking for a Project Manager for the People Technology Transformation Agenda of our Human Capital team . HR technology project manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the implementation of various Human Capital systems, tools, and solutions. The role will work with HR leaders, IT team , Finance, vendors, and other stakeholders to define the project scope, objectives, deliverables, budget, and timeline. The role will also manage and assign tasks related to the projects, , monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, communicate updates, and ensure quality to PwC standards.

Responsibilities:
• Developing and maintaining detailed project plans, milestones, schedules, risk registers, and status reports using project management tools and methodologies
• Leading and facilitating project meetings, workshops, and trainings with the project team and stakeholders
• Coordinate and facilitate the HR tech project related team meetings, ensuring alignment, collaboration, and accountability among the all functional leaders.
• Lead and manage cross-functional projects and programs that support the HR Operations strategy and objectives, such as process improvement, digital transformation, data analytics, and employee experience.
• Monitor and report on the progress, performance, and impact of the People tech projects and initiatives, identifying risks, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends, developments, and regulations in HR operations, and ensure compliance with internal policies and external laws and standards.
• Manage and oversee the HR Operations tech budget, resources, and governance, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and transparency.
• Providing technical and functional support and guidance to the project team and end-users, and resolving any issues or escalations
• Develop and execute effective communication and engagement strategies and plans for the HR Operations function, both internally and externally, in alignment with the PwC brand and values.
• Documenting and updating the project documentation, policies, procedures, and best practices

Mandatory skill sets:
• Understands end to end HR life cycle (Hire to Retire)
• Very good understanding of end to end project management
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Gen AI in HR projects, such as chatbots, natural language processing, machine learning, or computer vision, and their applications and implications for HR functions and processes
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of HR operations, processes,
• Proficient in various HR technology platforms, tools, and systems, such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, SuccessFactors, or PeopleSoft, and their integration and customization
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, and ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders and users

High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality, with a commitment to PwC's purpose, values, and culture.

Preferred skill sets:
• PMP or Prince 2 certification, or equivalent project management qualification

5-7 years of experience in HR systems implementation and support
