We are looking for a highly experienced individual at Senior Manager grade who has relevant experience and knowledge of regulation, reporting and / or sustainability in the Financial Services market. In this role, you'll collaborate with a diverse group of professionals to develop strategies that help our clients unlock value, drive efficiency and meet stakeholder requirements. Whilst being agile and working across a range of different subjects and projects, it is usual for a senior manager to have or develop a specialism where you will become a ‘subject matter expert’. In line with this, we specifically welcome candidates with sustainability regulation and reporting experience.

What your days will look like:

The responsibilities will vary depending upon the client and the engagement profile. Amongst others, you will:

Act as a trusted advisor, delivering tailored solutions that address clients' specific goals and building strong relationships with clients;

Be responsible for multiple, complex projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards;

Lead projects teams - providing guidance, support, and performance feedback to ensure successful outcomes;

Lead by example, promoting PwC’s core values and cultivating a culture of inclusivity and collaboration;

Ensure all client work meets PwC’s rigorous quality and compliance standards, actively managing potential risks;

Mentor and coach team members, fostering an environment of continuous learning and professional growth;

Stay informed about relevant regulation, reporting and industry developments, ensuring services remain compliant and competitive;

Identify opportunities to optimize resource allocation and operational efficiencies;

Contribute to the development and execution of PwC’s strategic objectives, ensuring alignment with market trends and client need;

Drive innovation by leveraging emerging technologies and methodologies to enhance service delivery;

Leveraging PwC’s global network and collaborating to bring the best insights and approaches to our clients;

Maintaining client contact programme with senior client staff, relationship building and networking with clients and internally across PwC; and

Enhance PwC's market presence by representing the firm in external engagements and participating in thought leadership.


This role is for you if:

A chartered or certified accountancy qualification (ACA or international equivalent) and / or have equivalent work experience. This includes international candidates who qualify through experience in their home country.

Qualified accountant with experience in financial and / or sustainability reporting;

Experience advising or implementing regulation for Financial Services companies - ideally TCFD / CSRD / SDR and an understanding of ISSB;

Experience in sustainability materiality and / or reporting maturity assessments;

Experience advising clients on, or directly using technology solutions for reporting – i.e. Workiva;

Experience in processes, controls, testing and reporting - ideally from both an audit and assurance perspective;

Experience advising, supervising or working for Financial Services clients in either a risk or regulatory capacity;

An ability to understand, interpret and communicate complex requirements to a range of audiences;

Experience with global financial services / insurance firms and the associated complexity of regulatory and reporting requirements;

Strong client handling and relationship management skills;

Strong written and verbal communication skills;

Experience of problem solving and ability to implement and deliver solutions tailored to clients’ needs; and

Experience in leading or supervising others to deliver multiple projects on time and to a high quality.
