Job Description
Your Job: As a Litigation Attorney, you will be responsible for handling complex legal matters, including trials, arbitrations, and mediations. You will work closely with claims specialists and provide advice and guidance to less senior attorneys.
Responsibilities:
Advise and mentor less senior attorneys on complex legal matters.
Handle two to three trials per year, with minimal management oversight.
Conduct all phases of personal injury litigation, including jury trials, motions, and arbitration hearings.
Work on and handle complex legal matters or projects, including those not in litigation.
Anticipate and advise on potential legal issues significantly impacting insurance and motor club operations.
Requirements:
Advanced degree in a related area that requires a law degree and passing of the bar exam.
Skilled in personal injury litigation, including liability assessment, causation, damages, coverage, personal injury damages, and causation, and the tri-partite relationship.
Knowledge of general liability insurance coverage and CSAA IG policies.
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in an organized and timely manner.
Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and online research tools.
Knowledge and understanding of legal ethics.
