Description
This new position is an exciting opportunity within our newly developed Intelligence capability of the National Fire Ant Eradication Program (NFAEP). As intelligence analyst you will play a key role in the provision of intel in support program functions including, but not limited to, intelligence, operations, compliance, engagement, and strategy.
Key Responsibilities Include
Access various Intelligence and Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) tools to gather and analyse data related to fire ant eradication efforts.
Engage with program leaders and within your team to share intelligence, and coordinate efforts for fire ant eradication. Assist in the gathering of intelligence that aligns with collection plans of specific intelligence.
Assist in the collation of data and preparation of reports detailing intelligence findings, and recommendations. Present these reports to management and team members.
Ensure all intelligence activities adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
Participate in the evaluation of intelligence tools and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of intelligence operations.
Mandatory Qualifications
While there are no mandatory qualifications for this role, experience in an intelligence role, preferably within a government or environmental context is desirable. Awareness of spatial analysis tools such as ArcGIS is highly desirable but not essential.
