Duties
ER Casework
· Assist the team in managing complex employee relations casework, including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, and redundancy.
· Handling higher-level ER case management where applicable.
· Advise managers on the terms and conditions of employment and knowledge share best practices with them.
· Apply HR and business knowledge, evidencing appropriate decision-making skills.
· Ensure company practices are legislatively compliant and senior managers understand their responsibilities.
· Coaching and developing managers and business leaders on relevant employment law and HR best practices.
HR Strategy
· Drive alignment between HR strategy and business goals and liaise with the Head of HR for progress on OKRs.
· Project leading, owning, and communicating the ‘people plan’ critical to quality delivery.
Policy Management and Development
· Develop HR policy and procedures to drive performance and mitigate disputes.
· Continuously monitor and review HR policies and processes and implement changes where necessary.
· Ensuring our policies are compliant with UK employment law.
Team Management
· Leading a team providing coaching and direction on matters.
· Conducting 121s, PDR reviews and weekly Catch Ups with team.
Data Management
· Partnering with services to manage KPIs of attrition, absence, and engagement.
· Analysing data to recommend and provide insights to the Head of HR.
Project Management
· Participate in the implementation of specific projects, procedures and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the organisation.
Change Management
· Support the business change programme with a particular emphasis on creating a results-orientated, positive, open and honest culture.
