Job Title: Interim Year End Financial Accountant – Fintech (3-Month Contract)
Location: London (Hybrid)
Day Rate: £300 - £350 per day (Inside IR35)
We are recruiting for an exciting interim role within a rapidly scaling fintech business based in London. This 3-month position will focus on delivering year-end duties and ensuring the company is fully prepared for a successful audit. You’ll play a pivotal role in producing statutory accounts and preparing for audit, working closely with the finance team and external auditors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Produce statutory accounts in accordance with UK accounting standards
• Lead the preparation for external audit, ensuring compliance and accurate documentation
• Manage year-end processes, ensuring all financial statements and records are in order
• Ensure compliance with FCA regulations
• Collaborate closely with the finance team and external auditors to meet deadlines
• Provide insight and analysis into financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and transparency
Requirements:
• ACA qualified, with strong consideration given to ACCA/CAANZ or equivalent qualifications
• Proven experience in producing statutory accounts and audit preparation
• Previous experience working in a practice environment is preferred
• Strong knowledge of FCA regulations is essential
• Prior experience in a fintech business is highly advantageous
• Familiarity with NetSuite is desirable
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
