Job Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong aesthetic sense and the ability to translate client needs into functional and visually appealing spaces. This role involves collaborating with clients, architects, and contractors to create innovative designs that enhance the quality of life and culture in the spaces we design.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with clients to determine their needs, preferences, and budget for interior design projects.
Develop design concepts and present them through sketches, mood boards, and digital renderings.
Utilize software tools such as Sketchup, CAD, Maya, and Adobe to create detailed design plans and visualizations.
Select appropriate materials, furnishings, colors, and finishes that align with the overall design vision.
Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and adherence to project timelines.
Conduct site visits to assess progress and ensure designs are being implemented correctly.
Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and emerging technologies in interior design.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality.
Skills
Proficiency in design software including Sketchup, CAD, Maya, Adobe Creative Suite.
Strong understanding of digital design principles and construction painting techniques.
Excellent sketching skills for conceptualizing ideas quickly.
Knowledge of visual arts painting techniques is a plus.
Familiarity with CSS for web-based design applications is beneficial.
An eye for detail coupled with strong organizational skills to manage project timelines effectively.
Ability to communicate ideas clearly both verbally and visually to clients and team members.
A background in fashion design can enhance creativity in material selection and color coordination.

Pay: $50,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
