Interior Teacher - Softwares & Theory

We are seeking dynamic, creative, and experienced faculty members to join our Interior Design Department at JD Institute of Fashion Technology. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction across key software tools and interior design theory subjects , guiding students through both technical proficiency and conceptual understanding of design.

Role Description

This is a contract remote role for an Interior Teacher - Softwares & Theory. The Interior Teacher will be responsible for planning lessons, teaching live classes, developing curriculum materials, conducting workshops, and providing individual training to students. The teacher will also be expected to communicate effectively with students, assess their progress, and provide constructive feedback.

️ Software Subjects (Hands-on Instruction):
• AutoCAD (2D & 3D): Drafting, plans, sections, elevations, working drawings
• 3ds Max with V-Ray: 3D modeling, lighting, rendering, walkthroughs
• SketchUp with Enscape: Real-time rendering, modeling, presentation techniques
• Adobe Photoshop: Post-production, presentation boards, image editing, portfolio design

You will be required to:
• Teach practical sessions and live demonstrations
• Assign hands-on projects to improve skill and speed
• Evaluate technical proficiency and creative execution
• Stay updated with latest software versions and trends

Theory Subjects in Interior Design

Qualifications
• Skills in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development
• Education and Teaching expertise
• Excellent Communication and Training skills
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Interior Design or related field
• Previous teaching experience is preferred
• Proficiency in relevant design software
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Interior Design / Architecture or equivalent
• Minimum 2–5 years of teaching or professional industry experience
• Expertise in the software listed above with strong design fundamentals
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for teaching, mentoring, and inspiring students
• Ability to blend theory with real-world application and case studies
