Working under an experienced manager, your main responsibilities will include:

Taking responsibility for a client portfolio and cultivating value client relationships
Applying knowledge of the business environment within which the client is operating and how the client is positioned in the industry Working on a range of entities including companies, trusts, self-managed super funds, partnerships, and individuals
Preparing the financial statements and tax returns for your team’s portfolio of clients
Coaching and mentoring junior staff members
Contributing to the ongoing improvements to processes adopted by the firm
Providing support for ad-hoc special assignments and value-add work for clients, including business performance reviews, development of tax planning strategies and attending to estate planning matters and wealth preservation
Our ideal candidate will have

At least 3 years’ Australian experience in a similar role
Commenced or nearing completion of CA qualification from CAANZ, in addition to a
Business/ Commerce degree with Accounting Major
Demonstrated experience in a Chartered Accounting Firm of a similar size in a professional services environment (business services or similar)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; articulate and well-presented
Attention to detail, the ability to self-review and perform quality control on work papers
Willingness to learn
