Job Description- Internal Audit Analyst
Job Summary:
Performs data mining and analysis to evaluate adherence to Company T&E policies & procedures. Performs follow-up inquiries and investigations related to data analysis findings.
Essential Job Functions:
• Analyze data extractions for T&E cost saving opportunities and adherence to Company policies & procedures.
• Organize, document, and maintain the results of work performed in accordance with departmental standards.
• Perform internal inquiries and investigations as required.
• Adhere to department policies, procedures, and expectations
• Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in business, accounting, information systems/technology, computer science, math, or a related field)
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
• Demonstrated communication skills (including active listening, writing, and emotional intelligence)
• Demonstrated analytical skills and an inquisitive mind (including ability to ask curious questions and gather, compile, interpret & analyze data quickly)
• Detail oriented with demonstrated organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (with intermediate Excel knowledge) and an aptitude to learn new computer programs
• Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools is a plus
• Previous audit experience is helpful, but not required
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 25 pounds is required.
Work Conditions: Generally, work in an office environment. Expect 0-15% travel, including domestic and/or international travel.
