Global Internal Audit provides independent and objective assurance as to whether the design and operational effectiveness of the Group’s framework of risk management, control and governance processes, as designed and represented by management, is adequate.
We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join the Global Audit Analytics team as an Internal Audit Data Analyst. Working together with colleagues to support audit teams in designing, developing and utilizing automated analytical tools and statistical approaches, to improve the overall effectiveness of the execution of audit activities.
In this role, you will:
Develop knowledge of data sources, structures, meta-data, etc. existing in select Lines of Business or Functions and regions for possible use by the Audit teams
Design, build, and deliver data analytics solutions to meet the needs of Audit
Innovative tests of controls utilizing digitized artefacts (data)
Implement and follow an agile, iterative, adaptive approach during the development/delivery of audit technology solutions to meet the timely needs of Audit and add the most value.
Drive discussion and collaborate with Global Internal Audit teams to identify areas where technology / automated analytical tools can add value, and existing data can be used to improve audit tests and audit knowledge.
Follow sustainable processes to support Global Audit Analytics operational requirements, including management of risk associated with performance of the analytic (e.g. cross-border data transfer)
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
Degree in information systems, accounting, mathematics, quantitative, numerical science or related field preferred or equivalent experience
Strong Technical skillset with Business Intelligence / analytical, visualization tools, ETL and programming (e.g. Python, Alteryx, SQL and Qlik Sense)
Strong analytical, decision making, interpersonal, time management and problem-solving skills
Experience in designing and implementing advanced data analytics solutions adopting data science techniques
External or internal audit experience will be helpful, but not essential
