About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive International Accountant (Accounts Payable Specialist) to join our global finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing globally end-to-end procurement and payment processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, vendor management, and compliance with internal controls and policies.
Responsibilities
• Process vendor invoices accurately and timely in accordance with company policies.
• Monitor and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
• Maintain vendor master data and ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
• Collaborate with procurement and business units to ensure smooth Accounts Payable operations.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and reconcile vendor statements.
• Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
• Continuously identify and implement process improvements.
Requirements
• At least 2-3 years of professional experience in the field of finance, ideally as an International Accountant
• University or technical college degree in business administration with a focus on accounting
• Very good knowledge of MS-Office tools, especially Excel
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and conceptual skills
• Excellent accounting skills and hands-on booking experience
• Fluency in English is mandatory, further languages are a plus
• The desire to work in an international team and in a rapidly growing environment, in which no year is like the other!
