The International Lending Officer plays a critical role in managing the lending process for commercial loans within the International Department's portfolio
This position independently oversees the lending aspects, ensuring seamless operations, client satisfaction, and compliance with regulatory standards
The Lending Officer exercises discretion and independent judgment in analyzing complex financial information, negotiating loan terms, and collaborating with various departments to facilitate loan funding and compliance
As a key partner to Relationship Managers (RMs), the Lending Officer collaborates closely with them to manage both new and existing commercial loans, ensuring effective and efficient portfolio management
This position also contributes to the broader strategic goals of the organization, including business development, client retention, and risk management, by engaging with clients and internal teams to deliver tailored lending solutions
Independently monitors and manages the portfolio of commercial loans from IPB, ensuring compliance with bank policies and identifying areas of potential risk, improvement, or opportunity for portfolio optimization
Independently analyzes creditworthiness by conducting detailed financial statement analysis, evaluating the credit risk against bank standards, and making informed decisions on loan approvals, modifications, and renewals
Oversees the ongoing administration of loan requirements, including ticklers, covenants, and annual reviews, ensuring operational efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory standards
Collaborates directly with clients to assess complex financial issues, propose solutions, and advocate for appropriate credit structures and services, providing expert advice and building strong relationships
