Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Inventory Accountant located in Mumbai. The Inventory Accountant will be responsible for managing and monitoring stock levels, ensuring accurate accounting records through journal entries, and analyzing financial data related to inventory. Other responsibilities include maintaining inventory reporting, reconciling discrepancies, and supporting the finance team to ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Experience with Stock Management and maintaining accurate inventory records
Strong Analytical Skills for tracking inventory trends and resolving discrepancies
Proficiency in Journal Entries (Accounting) and maintaining accurate accounting records
Knowledge of Accounting principles and Financial management practices
Proficient in inventory management systems and accounting software
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Previous experience in inventory accounting or similar roles in the hospitality industry is a plus
