Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced IP Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic team in Delhi. In this role, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end brand protection for our prestigious clients, developing effective litigation strategies, and representing rights holders in legal proceedings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and send cease-and-desist letters to IP infringers.
• Prepare and file trademark and copyright infringement lawsuits.
• Represent clients in civil and criminal lawsuits, mediations, and other court proceedings.
• Conduct enforcement actions, including the planning and execution of counterfeit product seizures.
• Draft, negotiate, and conclude settlement agreements with IP infringers.
• Assess infringement cases, providing clients with legal opinions and proposed actions.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to protect and enhance client brand integrity.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in IP law and regulations.
• Support BrandMonitor's business operations within the Delhi NCR region.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in law (LLB) from a reputable institution; LLM is preferred.
• Proven experience in IP litigation, with a focus on trademark and copyright matters.
• Strong knowledge of Indian IP laws, regulations, and court procedures.
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple cases, and meet tight deadlines.Proficiency in English and Hindi is mandatory; fluency in other local languages is advantageous.
• Demonstrable experience and professional connections in the Delhi NCR legal space are preferred.
• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in IP rights protection, brand enforcement, or a law firm specializing in IP litigation.
