A site civil engineer plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing civil engineering projects on-site. Here are some key requirements for this position:
Educational Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a specialized field (e.g., Structural Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering) can be advantageous.
Technical Skills:
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices, including site layout, grading, drainage, and construction materials.
• Knowledge of construction methods and equipment used in civil engineering projects.
• Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and industry standards
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, and specifications.
• Experience with surveying and mapping techniques.
• Understanding of project management principles and tools.
Soft Skills:

• Knowledge of local regulations and permitting processes can be beneficial.
Certifications (Optional):
• Professional Engineer (PE) Degree can enhance credibility and career prospects.
