Role Brief
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented IT Administrator who will play a dual role in managing both the company’s IT infrastructure and office administration. This person will be the go-to for all things IT from Google Workspace and network management to device provisioning and employee support. Additionally, the candidate will oversee the physical infrastructure in the office, including security systems and office assets, ensuring they align with ISO 27001 and SOC 2 compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Google Workspace (GSuite) Administration
Manage user accounts, groups, access controls, and permissions.
Enforce security policies and compliance configurations.
Automate provisioning and workflows using Google Admin and APIs.
Handle domain configuration, mail routing, and service availability.
2. Mobile Device & Endpoint Management (ManageEngine MDM)
Administer and enforce mobile device and endpoint policies.
Manage corporate app deployment, configuration, and updates.
Monitor device compliance and trigger security responses as needed.
3. Network & IT Infrastructure Management
Oversee office internet, switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi, and VPN infrastructure.
Perform regular health checks, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
Maintain physical servers (if any) and ensure uptime and patching.
4. IT Helpdesk & Remote Support
Resolve employee IT issues both on-site and remotely.
Maintain IT support documentation and knowledge base.
Track and close support tickets in a timely, compliant manner.
5. IT Asset & Inventory Management
Maintain an accurate inventory of laptops, accessories, and peripherals.
Provision and deliver devices to new joiners, including remote shipping and onboarding setup.
Manage the end-to-end asset lifecycle from procurement to decommissioning.
Perform periodic audits and ensure tagging, labeling, and record-keeping.
6. Office Admin & Physical Security Support
Oversee the maintenance and health of physical security systems (e.g., CCTV, biometric access, door sensors, UPS).
Liaise with vendors for installation, maintenance, and compliance documentation.
Coordinate with HR and Facilities for office access, keys, visitor logs, etc.
Support office-related logistics, including desk setups, common area tech (TVs, routers, access points), and minor utilities.
7. Compliance, Security & Documentation
Ensure all IT and admin operations align with ISO 27001 and SOC 2 controls.
Maintain updated documentation for all systems, procedures, and access logs.
Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring swift remediation of findings.
Conduct periodic reviews of access, patch management, and device hygiene.
Requirements
3–5 years in IT administration, preferably in a startup or SaaS environment.
Proficient in Google Workspace Admin, ManageEngine MDM, and network troubleshooting.
Familiarity with asset tracking tools, ticketing systems, and remote desktop utilities.
Basic understanding of physical IT infrastructure — switches, patch panels, access points, etc.
Experience with office administration, vendor coordination, and physical asset tracking.
Working knowledge of ISO 27001 and SOC 2 operational standards.
Ability to work across departments — IT, HR, Admin, and Security — to ensure process alignment.
