I.T Test Lead Position
Location: Remote
Rate: 26.82 per hour
Hours: 37.5
Length: 6 months contract (with option to extended)
Key Responsibilities:
• Test Strategy and Planning:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive test strategy aligned with the overall project objectives.
• Create detailed test plans, including test cases, test data, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to identify testing requirements and priorities.
• Test Execution and Management:
• Oversee the execution of various testing phases, including unit testing, integration testing, system testing, and acceptance testing.
• Monitor test progress, identify and resolve issues, and report on test results.
• Manage testing resources and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Defect Management:
• Track and manage defects throughout the testing process using a defect tracking system.
• Work with development teams to ensure timely resolution of defects.
• Analyze defect trends to identify root causes and prevent future occurrences.
• Test Automation:
• Identify opportunities for test automation to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Select and implement appropriate test automation tools and frameworks.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts.
• Quality Assurance:
• Ensure that the Dorset SIIS Programme meets quality standards and complies with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct quality reviews and audits to identify potential risks and issues.
• Promote a culture of quality within the project team.
• Reporting and Communication:
• Provide regular status reports on testing activities to project stakeholders.
• Communicate test results and recommendations to relevant parties.
• Collaborate with other project roles to ensure effective coordination and problem-solving.
