Job Description
An international logistics company in Jamacia, New York is seeking a Japanese / English bilingual IT Support Specialist to join our internal IT team. This position focuses primarily on supporting end users within the company. As part of our digital transformation (DX) initiatives, our internal IT team plays a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency and user experience across the organization. This is a full time, direct hire and On-site work setting.
Japanese / English bilingual IT Support Specialist Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day IT support for internal users (hardware, software, network, account issues, etc.)
Communicate patiently and effectively with employees at all levels, ensuring a positive support experience
Assist with device setup, troubleshooting, and system maintenance
Participate in companywide digital transformation initiatives
Learn and contribute to the development of simple internal applications using low-code platforms
Collaborate closely with IT team members to improve processes and enhance system usability
Other duties as assigned
Japanese / English bilingual IT Support Specialist Qualifications:
Japanese–English bilingual proficiency (both verbal and written)
Strong communication skills and the ability to support users patiently and professionally
Interest in IT, digital transformation, and low-code application development
Motivation to learn and grow in an IT support role
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, or networking
Experience with helpdesk support or customer service
Familiarity with low-code platforms
