Job Description
As a jewelry merchandiser, you will be responsible for planning, selecting, and presenting jewelry collections to enhance sales and profitability. Your role involves collaborating with various teams, analyzing sales data, forecasting trends, and ensuring that the visual appeal of the jewelry aligns with the brand and target market.
Your key responsibilities will include developing and implementing merchandising plans for jewelry collections based on seasonal strategies and market trends. This will involve selecting styles, colors, materials, and determining appropriate price points. You will also be responsible for managing inventory levels, optimizing stock, and minimizing excess inventory.
In addition, you will create visually appealing displays of jewelry in retail stores or online platforms by choosing appropriate props, lighting, and display techniques. Collaborating closely with sales and marketing teams, you will develop compelling merchandising strategies to drive sales and customer engagement.
You will monitor global jewelry trends, analyze sales data, and forecast future trends to guide product development and merchandising decisions. Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery, quality control, and cost management will also be part of your responsibilities.
Conducting quality checks on jewelry pieces, understanding customer preferences, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and analyzing sales data to optimize merchandising strategies are key aspects of your role.
