JIB/Revenue Accountant
Location: Denver, CO, REMOTE OPTIONS
Reports to: Chief Accounting Officer
Budget: 80k
Summary:
Hiring for a JIB/Revenue Accountant for an Oil and Gas client located in Denver, CO! This position has primary responsibility for performing JIB and revenue accounting. Requires a general knowledge of oil and gas accounting operations and policy, and the ability to solve problems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Process Joint Interest Billings, apply JIB payments
• Process Revenue each month
• Process and print royalty checks monthly
• Report severance and conservation taxes
• Process Non-op revenue and expenses
• Process 10++s and DR21Ws annually
• Respond to inquiries from WI owners
• Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skill and Ability:
• Oil and gas accounting knowledge required
• Proficient Excel skills
• Enertia experience a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Ability to analyze and solve problems
• Ability to act as a team player
Education and Experience:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 3 years Oil and Gas accounting experience required
• Enertia Software experience a plus
