Jr Accountant

Mobio Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. Key Responsibilities: • Financial Recordkeeping: Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions. Maintain and update general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail. • Accounts Payable & Receivable Management: Process and verify invoices and expense reports for accuracy and completeness. Manage accounts receivable by monitoring customer accounts, sending statements, and following up on overdue payments. Facilitate timely and accurate payments to vendors. • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Assist in the preparation of financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement). Generate and analyze various financial reports to support informed decision-making. • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards and regulations. Assist with audit preparation to maintain financial transparency. • Expense Management: Monitor and control expenses to optimize resource allocation. Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities. • Data Integrity: Maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial data through regular data validation and cleansing processes. • Key Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field (preferred) • Minimum 1 year of experience in an accounting role (or equivalent internship experience) • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices (GAAP, IFRS) • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
