Our core team comprises alumni from IIT, IIM, ISB, Wharton, St. Xavier’s, London Business School, and other top schools across the world, with significant experience in developing and delivering emotional wellness products to individual users, corporates, and insurance companies.
About the Role
We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our Finance and Accounts team; be a core part of setting up new operations while managing ongoing finance operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Owning and managing all Data Entry and Accounting work of the company
• Managing accounting, payroll, transaction support, etc.
• In charge of Posting Journal Entries, Creating Masters in the software.
• Maintaining Receivables and Payables
• Assist in processing Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss Statement, Cashflow Statement, and other financial statements
• Assist Senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/ yearly closings
• Prepare and submit weekly reports
• Assist with review of Expenses, Employee Reimbursement, and Petty cash vouchers
• Preparing Revenue Invoices and maintaining Revenue Tracker
Skills And Qualifications
• Qualified B.com / M.com
• Experience in data entry & bookkeeping using Tally
• Knowledge of Direct and Indirect Tax Compliance
• Preparing Reconciliation Statements
• Preparing and Presenting Cheques for Clearance in Bank
• Prior experience of 1-2 years is preferred not mandatory
