Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Tally Expertise: Utilize Tally accounting software to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Budget Management: Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets, track expenses, and identify opportunities for cost-saving.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, using Tally as the primary tool.
Accounts Payable: Manage vendor invoices and payments, verifying accuracy, and ensuring timely processing within Tally.
Accounts Receivable: Oversee client invoicing, monitor receivables, and follow up on overdue payments using Tally.
Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank and resolve discrepancies, utilizing Tally capabilities.
Vendor Reconciliation: Maintaining & tallying purchase orders.
Expense Tracking: Monitor and control company expenses, identifying areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement, with Tally-generated insights.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Proven experience as an Accountant, with a strong knowledge of Tally accounting software. • Familiarity with accounting principles and practices. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
