LHH is seeking a Junior Accountant for an amazing client in Kansas City! As a Junior Accountant, you will be crucial in supporting our finance team with day-to-day accounting tasks.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate with a degree in accounting to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
• Assist in accounts payable and receivable processes
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy in financial reporting
• Perform other ad hoc accounting tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
