Continental Surface Solutions India plant manufactures premium surface materials for both passenger cars and 2-wheelers. The products include Acella Eco and Acella Lux materials, which add aesthetic value to vehicle interiors. Today, the plant supplies to all the major OEMs in the country and plans to service the ASEAN region in future too.
Job Description
• Verification and posting of customer receipts and transactions related to accounts receivable.
• Maintaining customer master data related to FI
• Evaluation of customer credit limits on periodic basis
• Drafts correspondence for past-due accounts and collections
• Doing regular followup with customer and timely escalation to sales team for recovery
• Identifies defaulters by reviewing accounts & payment habits, and highlighting the same on timely basis.
• Reconcile accounts receivable on a periodic basis.
• Reconciling customer balance with receivable GL balance
• Support in Month end closing activities
• Support in providing working for TCS / TDS / GST fling
• Support in Statutory Audit, tax audit in preparing relevant schedule
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Creates reports regarding the current status of customer accounts as requested.
• Responding to the customer queries immediately
• Assisting in financial management and analysis
• Coordinating with bank for issue of GR waiver, closure of GR Waiver
• Filing of invoice for proper easy and timely retrieval in future
Qualifications
• B Com Graduate
• Experience in Maintaining Books of accounts & finalization as Per Indian Law
• Minimum 3 years working experience with SAP R3 in FICO module
• Advance level knowledge in excel
• Experience in accounting of customer invoicing bills
• Understanding the concept of Cost Centers, Purchase Order, Internal Orders, GRIR, special GL indicators…
• Understanding of TDS / TCS / GST
• Experience of working to tight deadlines
• Cross-functional experience e.g. in production, supply chain, quality or CBS preferred
• Good written & oral communication skill in Hindi, Marathi & English
