Job Summary
As a Junior Accountant at Ajmera Infotech, you will support our accounting department by performing a variety of accounting tasks and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting. This role requires a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
• Assist with day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
• Process invoices and expense reports in a timely manner.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather and review financial information.
• Respond to accounting inquiries and provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations.
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
