Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Accountant for US clients. The Accountant will be responsible for managing multiple clients based out of the US and their financial accounts, preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and other related accounting duties.
Qualifications
- Proficiency with accounting software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Experience in maintaining general ledger, recording transactions, and preparing financial statements
- Experience working with multiple clients and managing simultaneous projects.
- Creating and verifying Invoices.
- Posting payments on open invoices in QB- Payment will be verified from the report and verify payments on the report have hit the bank.
- Creating and Posting Credit memos on Open invoices in QB - Will be verified with the receivable department.
- Posting journal entries
- Reconciliation of bank accounts and Credit Cards
- Running payroll and email check stumps to employees
- Generation of Monthly Reports P&L;, Balance Sheet
- Keeping track of Agents production
- Should be self-motivated to take responsibility and deliver quality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Experience in working with start-ups or SMEs is a plus
- Additional certification such as a CPA, CMA, MBA , CA Inter or ACCA is a plus
- Experience of 2-5 years in US accounting preferred.
- Available to join immediately or in 15 days
