About Company:
Recity is a city resource management organization with a current focus on waste as a resource. We support urban local bodies and corporates in implementing and sustaining data and tech-enabled city-level solutions to streamline the waste value chain and avert waste from landfills. This is done by creating platforms where stakeholders, including the government, citizens, waste workers, and experts interact and problem-solve together, and become mindful of the needs of others. In the last two years, we have averted more than 24,000 metric tons of waste from landfills and formalized 325 waste workers.
About the Internship:
Key responsibilities:
1. Ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions
2. Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information
3. Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies
4. Maintain the general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries
5. Summarize financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheets, profit and loss, and other statements
6. Work on the complete external audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts and providing information for auditors
7. Prepare MIS reports

5. General entry
6. Balance sheet
7. Good command of Tally
8. Proficient in MS Office and documentation

13. Proven experience of 1 to 2 years as a senior accounts executive or assistant manager of accounts
14. In depth understanding of office management procedures and departmental and legal policies
15. Proficient in MS. Office and documentation
16. An analytical mind with problem-solving skills
17. Good organizational and multitasking skills
18. Theoretical knowledge non - profit organizations and CSR
