Your new role
You will gain responsibility for a portfolio of clients as well as being allocated work on a regular basis. You will have contact with clients via phone, email and online meetings.
Your typical daily duties will include:
Preparation of VAT Returns and advising clients of VAT liabilities.
Bookkeeping on client’s software i.e. QuickBooks, Xero, Freeagent & Sage and in excel and completing opening balance and year-end adjustments
Listing sole trader, partnerships and Limited Companies
Preparation of statutory accounts for small to medium sized Limited Companies including corporation tax computations.
Preparation of unaudited Accounts for sole traders and partnerships.
Liaising with HMRC on client queries
Skills:
Excellent organisational & time management abilities
Great attention to detail
Able to manage a portfolio of clients & liaise with the team
Confident with clients
Maintain objectivity, independence and integrity always
Be an ambassador for the firm and maintain client relationships
Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with online computer software. Ie Xero, QuickBooks and Sage.
Competent in producing statutory accounts using FRS 102 & FRS 105
Knowledge of Sage Accounts an advantage
