Are you a part-qualified ACCA looking to complete your qualification while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic commercial environment? Franke is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team. Your tasks
• Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts for all active and dormant companies.
• Complete annual ICS testing.
• Compute CT returns.
• Assist in the audit process.
• Support the credit control strategy.
• Produce annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
• Review KPIs (stock, credit control, margins, overheads, channels).
• Prepare month-end files and reconciliations (in Excel).
• Conduct overheads analysis.
• Prepare VAT returns.
• Engage in commercial finance activities, including pricing excellence and proposals, with exposure to key account customers.
• Participate in projects such as working capital optimization and mergers/acquisition activity, where relevant.
Requirements
• Part-qualified ACCA, eager to complete the qualification while at Franke.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a commercial business environment.
• High level of numeracy with excellent attention to detail.
• Confident and clear communication skills with the ability to interact well with both internal and external contacts.
• Advanced Excel skills
• SAP experience is an advantage
