Job Description
We are currently seeking a Junior Accountant to join our team. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of financial transactions
• Assist with the reconciliation of bank statements and accounts
• Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Assist with the processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Assist with the preparation of tax returns and other compliance documents
• Assist with the analysis of financial data and preparation of financial reports
• Assist with the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems and procedures
• Assist with the preparation of audit schedules and support the audit process
• Provide support to the finance team as needed
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Experience with accounting software is a plus
