Job Title: Junior Accountant Location: Mumbai Salary: ₹10,000 – ₹12,000 (depending on experience) Experience: 0 – 1 year Job Description: Mezora Talent Management is seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial operations. This position is ideal for freshers or those with up to 1 year of experience who are eager to build their accounting skills in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage and process invoices for payments. Track incoming payments from clients, ensuring timely deposits. Reconcile vendor and client accounts to ensure accurate balances. GST & TDS Compliance: Assist in filing GST returns as per statutory requirements. Manage TDS deductions and timely submission of TDS returns. Tally ERP Operations: Record daily financial transactions in Tally software. Maintain accurate ledger entries, including purchases, expenses, and income. Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements with the company’s financial records to ensure consistency. Support Senior Accountant: Assist senior accountants with various financial tasks and reports. Take on additional responsibilities as required by senior staff, such as financial audits or preparing reports for management. Documentation & Filing: Ensure that all accounting documents are properly maintained and stored. Assist with digital record-keeping to ensure efficient retrieval of financial data. Qualifications & Skills: Education: Graduate in Commerce (B.Com) or related field. Experience: 0 – 1 year of experience in accounting or finance. Software Knowledge: Proficiency in Tally ERP is a must. Basic knowledge of Excel and accounting software is desirable. Skills: Basic understanding of GST and TDS regulations. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to meet deadlines and multitask. Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
