Job Description
Work timings:
01:00 pm to 10:00 pm IST - Monday to Friday
Responsibilities include:
Supporting the reconciliation activities and close processes of the ES General Accounting team
General Ledger accounting entries
Balance Sheet Reconciliations
Bank Account Reconciliations
Data analysis and related corrective action associated with the accounting activities above
Miscellaneous General Accounting tasks such as posting journal entries, invoicing, wire transfers, error corrections, reporting, account reconciliations, etc
Exposure to and possible involvement in supporting multiple areas of ES including Accounts Payable, Travel & Expense, Payroll, Timekeeping, Tax, Global Disbursements, Orders to Cash, etc.
Possibilities of role expansion and rotational opportunities in all Accounting areas of the ES General Accounting team include Fixed Assets, Intercompany & Payroll, etc.
Required Skills:
Analytical, problem identification, problem-solving and decision-making skills
Self-starter with the ability to take the initiative and ownership of assignment and a desire to improve processes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment; must work well with others
Confidence with the ability to make sound decisions and the capacity to sift through complex information to focus on the critical priorities
Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, meet deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced setting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
