Our science and technology takes place in Bangalore; our operations are undertaken in Darjeeling’s heritage tea estates.Role Overview:We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Junior Associates to join our dynamic team. The successful candidates will support research and development initiatives focused on geochemical processes for CO2 capture and sequestration. This role offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals to contribute to cutting-edge environmental solutions.What You’ll Do:Conduct laboratory experiments to evaluate geochemical methods for CO2 removal and storage.Analyze mineral samples and assess their reactivity and capacity for CO2 sequestration.Assist in the development and optimization of geochemical models to predict CO2 interactions with various substrates.Collect, process, and interpret geochemical data to inform project development.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including environmental scientists and engineers, to integrate geochemical insights into broader CO2 removal strategies.Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate findings to internal stakeholders.Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in geochemistry and carbon capture technologies.What We’re Looking For:Bachelor’s degree in Geochemistry, Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field.Fundamental understanding of geochemical processes, particularly those related to mineral carbonation and CO2 sequestration.Proficiency in laboratory techniques and instrumentation used in geochemical analysis.Strong analytical skills with experience in data collection and interpretation.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Prior research experience in CO2 removal or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory.❔ Why Join Us?There are innumerable JDs floated every day in Bangalore.
