Experienced fashion designer wanted for Boutique in Kochi, Kerala!

We are seeking a talented and creative Junior Fashion Designer to join our team at our boutique in Kochi, Kerala.

As a Fashion Designer, you will be responsible for designing creative custom design and on-trend apparel, accessories, and other fashion items that align with the boutique's aesthetic and brand identity. Proficient in hand-drawing fashion sketches showcasing creativity and attention to detail in clothing designs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conceptualize and sketch original fashion designs for clothing, accessories, and other products
• Communicate good in English.
• Social media - Instagram and minor video editing is a plus for this role.
• Collaborate with customers to understand and visualize their design ideas.
• Maintain strong communication with clients to ensure satisfaction.
• Select fabrics, colors, and embellishments that complement the boutique's style
• Oversee the production of fashion items, working closely with pattern makers, sewers, and other production staff
• Stay up-to-date on the latest fashion trends and incorporate them into your designs
• Collaborate with the boutique's marketing and sales teams to ensure designs meet customer preferences
• Attend fashion shows, trade events, and industry networking opportunities to gather inspiration

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field
• Strong sketching, illustration, and technical design skills
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Passion for fashion and staying ahead of industry trends
