Position Overview
As a Staff Accountant at Goldback, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our accounting operations. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and enjoys rolling up their sleeves to ensure financial accuracy across day-to-day transactions. You’ll work closely with our finance team to manage reconciliations, assist in month-end close, and contribute to process improvements as we scale. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and eager to grow with a company that’s redefining the future of currency.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare journal entries and reconcile bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts.
Support month-end close and financial reporting processes.
Maintain accurate financial records in NetSuite.
Track and process employee expenses through Concur and Bill.com.
Build and maintain reports in Excel to support financial analysis and team needs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
1-2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a fast-paced or high-growth environment.
Proficiency in Excel and accounting platforms like NetSuite, Bill.com, and Concur.
Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with minimal oversight.
