The Role
TOTEME is looking for a Junior Visual Merchandiser to join our team in New York. In this role, you will support the Global Visual Merchandising team in implementing impactful visual merchandising strategies across all US-based retail stores, wholesale locations, concessions, shop-in-shop environments and seasonal showrooms. You will report to and work closely with the Global Visual Merchandising Manager to ensure a cohesive brand presentation and an elevated in-store experience that aligns with global standards and drives customer engagement and sales.
Responsibilities
Ensure brand consistency by implementing TOTEME’s global visual merchandising guidelines across all retail environments.
Assist in developing and refining visual merchandising strategies to enhance the customer shopping experience and reflect the brand identity.
Analyze store performance and visual merchandising reports to identify areas for improvements and opportunities.
Assist with store zoning, layout planning, and fixture setups, providing visual plans and renderings to optimize product displays.
Support the preparation of visual merchandising materials, including templates, presentations, and creative assets for store setups and new openings.
Conduct regular store visits to ensure displays remain consistent, high-quality, and aligned with global standards.
Provide practical guidance and training to local teams on executing visual merchandising strategies effectively.
Act as a key point of communication between the global VM team and US-based stores, to ensure seamless execution of visual initiatives.
Support in-store and window installations, contributing to the brand’s seasonal visual merchandising objectives.
Participate in and contribute to TOTEME’s social and environmental sustainability strategy.
Your Profile
Proven experience in visual merchandising, with a strong understanding of brand aesthetics and customer expectations, preferably within a premium or luxury fashion brand.
Expertise in visual merchandising principles, including store layout, product placement, and display techniques that drive sales and enhance the customer experience.
Ability to ensure brand consistency across multiple retail formats.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and provide clear guidance to retail teams.
Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of implementing and executing visual merchandising initiatives on time.
Fluent in spoken and written English.

This is a full-time position based at TOTEME's New York office starting as soon as possible. The yearly salary for this role is $65,000-75,000 and determined based on experience.
