OverviewThe Key Account Manager (PSU/Govt) plays a crucial role in developing and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts within the public sector and government entities. This position is essential for driving business growth, maintaining customer satisfaction, and ensuring the organization's objectives are met within this segment.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the company's customer base within the public sector and government accounts.Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in government organizations.Understand client needs and provide solutions to meet their objectives and requirements.Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of products andservices.Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.Analyze and predict market trends to ensure proactive sales approaches.Prepare regular reports on account status, sales pipeline, and forecasts.Oversee the customer service and support functions for key accounts.Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and account management.Identify and grow opportunities within territory and collaborate with sales teams to ensure growth attainment.Keep abreast of industry and market trends to provide strategic input to the organization.Represent the company at industry events and conferences to promote our products and services.Conduct periodic business reviews with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any issues or concerns.Job ResponsibilitiesAs the Key Account Manager for PSU and Government sectors, you will be Responsible For Building and bringing projects to the tender stage, including specifying the tenderrequirements. Participating in the project tender process and ensuring compliance with relevantregulations. Establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with potential and existing customersto strengthen loyalty and market penetration. Demonstrating a proven track record of selling ICT solutions and System Integration (SI)projects to various government agencies and PSUs. Managing customer expectations at various levels and ensuring customer satisfaction. Cultivating relationships with consulting companies and System Integrators (SI). Gaining a deep understanding of customer requirements and market trends. Building an ecosystem of OEMs and vendors for SI projects.Additional Requirements Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and multicultural environment,possessing a CAN do attitude. Excellent organizational, planning, and project management skills, with experience indocumentation. Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential. Experience working in a matrix organization structure. 12-15 years of sales experience inPSU/Government sectors. BE/MBA qualification.Skills: negotiation,communication,account management,government relations
