Job Role :
The incumbent will be part of the legal team servicing the wholesale banking business of Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited.
The role will involve work in the following areas:
1. Transaction advisory and review of all type of loan and collateral documents, as legal counsel for the Bank.
2. Well versed with supply chain financing documents and support the business team in closing transactions with Borrower groups.
3. Knowledge of all relevant legislations for day to day advisory on various issues.
4. Negotiating with law firms representing the client and the external clients' legal teams on financing documentation.
5. Advising on product documentation and structuring of transactions in a compliant manner.
6. Advising Business team on handling any client and regulatory communication on case to case basis.
7. Experience in either banking finance team of a law firm or in a bank supporting lending transactions and documentation. Should be a motivated self-starter who can work with minimal supervision and needs to be a team player. Good communication and drafting skills are a must.
