KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, KPMG Law to join our practice.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage large-scale, multidisciplinary, and multijurisdictional projects while contributing to the development of new service offerings within KPMG’s tax and advisory practices.
• Work collaboratively with U.S. and Global teams to enhance efficiency and drive opportunities, forming strong relationships with external clients, vendors, and KPMG professionals.
• Engage with diverse teams of legal professionals at various levels, including teams from KPMG’s international member firms.
• Utilize KPMG technologies to innovate the drafting, reviewing, and advising processes for commercial and corporate law documents; ensure compliance with legal and regulatory changes.
• Support legal managed services engagements, which may include high-volume contract reviews, contract lifecycle management, and offering legal guidance to stakeholders on technology-related contracts.
• Contribute to the broader legal community through mentoring junior lawyers and sharing knowledge within the team.
• Uphold KPMG’s reputation for professionalism and integrity, maintaining a respectful and courteous work environment.
Qualifications:
• A minimum of five years of experience in reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and managing commercial law contracts and corporate documents.
• A Juris Doctorate or LLM from an accredited institution; must hold an active bar license in Arizona.
• A self-starter with a growth mindset and exceptional project management skills, capable of prioritizing tasks and leading legal projects to timely completion.
• In-depth understanding of commercial contracts, key clauses, and expertise in corporate governance and transactional matters.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and eager to leverage new technologies, including AI, in legal service applications.
• Able to collaborate across diverse teams and stakeholders, and communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively, fostering a high-performance culture at KPMG.
