Moree Plains Shire Council is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our Infrastructure Services to work within our Urban Works and Parks and Open Spaces Teams.
Permanent Full-Time– 38 hours per week
Location - Moree
Attractive Salary ranging from $1,004.15 up to $1,117.65 per week (PLUS Superannuation) depending on qualifications and experience

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Labourer roles will be required to
Provide safe and reliable access to Moree Plains Shire to satisfy the economic and social needs of the community.
Provide a neat and tidy image and promote Moree Plains Shire Council in a positive manner.
Salary and conditions will be in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2026.

ABOUT YOU
Council is looking for someone who has the following qualities, experience and/or qualifications:
Work effectively in a team environment to achieve set outcomes and practice positive communication.
Is committed to Work, Health and Safety principles applying these in all aspects of your daily work.
Provides a high quality of works and demonstrating this consistently.
Be adaptable and willing to multitask plus willing to learn a variety of tasks.
Demonstrated effective communication skills with the ability to understand written and verbal instructions.
Willingness to work a rotating roster which involves weekend, early morning and late evening shifts and public holidays.
General Construction Induction card.
Current NSW Provisional or Class C Driver’s Licence (Manual)
